Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is a great pleasure for me to invite you to EUROSPINE 2006 in Istanbul. In the last few years, the EUROSPINE – meetings have become major international events for the spine specialists from all around the world. Barcelona 2005 was the biggest EUROSPINE ever and now, for the first time, we all will be guests in Turkey.

Haluk Berk and his organizing team are doing a great job to make EUROSPINE 2006 another outstanding event.

I am sure that we all will enjoy again a meeting  which will fulfill all our expectations from the scientific as well as from the social point of view. The fascinating city of Istanbul which is not only a geographical but as well a cultural bridge between Europe and Asia, will host us all and will give us the ideal  background for a first-class international 'come-together'.
